Machine Operator
1. Machine Operation
- Operate and monitor rinser, filler, capper, and labeling machines.
- Ensure efficient and continuous machine operation during assigned shifts.
- Perform machine changeovers and setups according to product specifications.
- Execute proper start-up and shutdown procedures as per production schedules.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct routine equipment checks and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report mechanical or pneumatic issues; collaborate with maintenance personnel for timely resolution.
- Keep equipment and surrounding areas clean and sanitized in compliance with food safety standards.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Promptly report equipment malfunctions, production disruptions, or quality deviations to the supervisor.
- Assist in training new operators or assistants on machine operation and safety procedures.
4. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Monitor machines to ensure output meets specified quality and production standards.
- Check fill levels, label placement, and cap sealing for accuracy and consistency.
- Follow all safety protocols during operation, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
5. Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment before and after production runs.
- Participate in audits, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with raw material replenishment and ensure all necessary inputs are available before starting operations.
